Book Presentation
Boys Adrift by Leonard Sax
Book Abstract
Boys in the United States are less likely to attend college, less likely to leave home in their 20s, and more disinterested in school and achievement than any other time during the last six decades. This troubling development is shaping the future of America and it is not confined to any single group of boys.
There appear to be five factors critical to the development of underachieving boys and in Boys Adrift, Dr. Sax examines these factors and explores solutions to reverse this detrimental trend. Solving the problem will require cooperation across the nation.
