I have become known as “The Woman who Always Wins!” However, this was not always my testimony. I knew I loved God with my whole heart and I lived a holy lifestyle yet I was losing in almost everything. I was losing financially. I was losing in my marriage. I was losing in life.
This may be where you find yourself. It is no doubt that you have given your life to God but you are not seeing the manifested blessings that God promised. I know exactly how you feel. I was there. In fact, I have the tee-shirt and the hat to prove it. I desperately wanted to prosper, and win and with every fiber of my being, I knew I was supposed to win! But, I wasn’t.
My prolonged losing streak caused me to wonder if it really was God’s will for me to win. I knew I had seen it in the Bible, but I thought, maybe His promise was not for everyone. One day, I gained a revelation that winning was for every believer, including me. Then, I had to overcome some mental strongholds, which had been built over those tough years of struggle. I knew without a doubt that I was supposed to win. Now, I needed to know how to win in life. It would have been unfair for God to put the desire to win within my heart without giving me the steps on how to win.
As I look back on those days, it is so vivid. The light that came from God’s promises lifted the darkness of defeat that plagued my life! God sent people into my life to teach me the Biblical process that leads to winning. Once I knew the steps to win, I knew it was just a matter of time before my losing streak was over.
It did not happen all at once, but with one victory after another my previous defeats were turned into victories. Here’s something you have to understand: I believed the confession, “I always win” before I saw consistent victories in my life. You must do that too! You have to have a winning mindset before you will see God-ordained victories in your life.
As I prayed about what investment I could make in helping others to win in life, God led me to write this 30-day Guide to Wining in Life. Each day you will be introduced to the scriptures that transformed my thinking and my life. They will do the same thing for you. I want to help lead you to victory in every area of your life.
Each day you will read a Scripture which has helped me become a winner in life. I will share some of my reflections on that Scripture, then I will give you a daily confession based on the principle that you learned. Each day your faith will rise and you will see a light shining in your situation. There is also a Winning Confession that I created with you in mind. This will keep you focused on winning for the rest of your life.
You are only 30 days away from changing your losing streak! Let me show you how. If you are not ready to win, then put this book aside until you are serious about winning. But, if you are determined to take your life to the next level and be known as someone who always wins, then let’s get started.
We always Win!

“This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!”
(2 Corinthians 5:17 NLT)

God said that you became a new person when you gave your life to Jesus. With that good news, I welcome you to win! From today, and for the rest of your life, you never have to lose another battle! These are bold words because I am convinced that what God promised, He will accomplish. For, “Christ says “Yes” to all of God’s promises. That’s why we have Christ to say ‘Amen’ for us to the glory of God.” (2 Corinthians 1:20, CEV)
Without knowing that you have a fresh start, winning will seem impossible because you cannot see how to get from where you are right now to where God wants you to be; but let me assure you, when you came to Jesus, all your past failures were erased and you have a fresh start. There is nothing holding you back from succeeding in life except you! God said in Deuteronomy 30:19, “I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live.” (NKJ)
God made you a new creation, but if you don’t believe it, you will keep letting your past hold you back from your future. You will see yourself as disqualified from God’s best and you won’t think you deserve better because of things you’ve done in your past. Today, I want you to break free from the chains of your past that keep you looking back instead of forward. Paul sets an example for us to follow, saying in Philippians 3:13-14, “but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.” (NKJ)
Your past may be full of times when you failed and lost. Receive the truth of God’s Word: Those times are over. You have graduated from losing to winning. You are a child of God fully accepted by God who has pre-destined you for greatness! Right now, you are a winner in every aspect of the word, and in every situation you will ever face. You are Brand New!
Father God, I believe that you have a hope and a future just for me. Now, may I be renewed in the spirit of my mind to know and live in it completely. I look to You to perfect that which concerns me, in Jesus’ name.
I am a new creature in Christ Jesus, fully loved by my Father; therefore, I always win!

“You’ve all been to the stadium and seen the athletes race. Everyone runs; one wins. Run to win. All good athletes train hard. They do it for a gold medal that tarnishes and fades. You’re after one that’s gold eternally.” (1 Corinthians 9:24 MSG)

When you know that you are a brand new person, there is nothing but success in front of you. But, I don’t want you to think that your life won’t have challenges. It will. John 16:33 says, “I’ve told you all this so that trusting me, you will be unshakable and assured, deeply at peace. In this godless world you will continue to experience difficulties. But take heart! I’ve conquered the world.” (MSG). Of course you know that to be a winner means you have to compete and overcome the opposition.
We all like to hear the words: triumph, victor, champion, and overcomer; yet, all of these words require some hurdle to be passed, some obstacle to be removed, or some challenge to be defeated. These words are not given to those who have not proven themselves on some field of battle. “Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.” (James 1:12 NIV) Even in Olympic sporting events, you cannot stand on the gold medal stand unless you have surpassed all your opponents. You don’t get the gold medal for just showing up.
The same is true for you. By definition, you are a winner because you will not let anything stop you. For a winner, second place is not an option. Life will throw challenges at you. The devil will put stumbling blocks in your way. You may make bad decisions, which cause your road to be more difficult, but regardless of the source of the situation, you can win. Remember, Romans 8:37 says, “Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.” (NKJ)
Father God, may I never faint in days of adversity, but may I always understand that You’re not only with me, but You are the greater one living within in; therefore, I always win, in Jesus’ name.
I overcome by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of my testimony! (Revelations 12:11)

“And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.” (Galatians 6:9 ESV)

With a winning mindset, you cannot entertain quitting regardless of how difficult the road ahead may seem. The only way you lose is if you quit. Now understand me, you will be presented with many opportunities to give up or “throw in the towel” but those actions will not lead you to winning.
