Dedication
This book is dedicated to anyone who has felt helpless at any time in their life’s journey;
For anyone who has searched for the answers to life’s toughest questions.
“Beneath the Rubbles”
Jesus’ last words to me, “I give you love and that’s all I have to give,
but for love to function and grow, love has to connect to love.
Love is a commitment that starts with self and then it must spread to broken places
where love fails to exist
and then love will grow and it will spread like wildfire and then there will be an abundance of love in the world.
Leaders must know this. Leaders must soften their hearts to love.
You are a leader, now lead with love. That’s all I have and that’s all you’ll get, and that’s all you need.”
This book is a practical journey to self-enlightenment.

Introduction
You may ask yourself, “Why should I read this book?”
To answer this, the book you are reading consists of one year of inspirational writings.
For one full year I brought every chaotic thought to Christ. Every moment that brought me discomfort I brought to Christ and asked questions and received answers. For one full year every morning I renewed my mind, my spirit, and my soul to experience the challenges of the new day without the contamination of the past. Each morning, I commenced with prayers, silence and deep meditation.
Can you imagine how many issues we deal with every day? Can you imagine capturing each of those issues for 365 days and being able to look back a year later and see the benefits of your struggles? There is a saying that what doesn’t kill you only makes you stronger, and I believe reading this book will surely make you stronger.
Every response to the questions I’ve asked, I’ve written just the way I heard it. I have not always been consistent in my writings, so there are some responses that I’ve lost. Luckily those I’ve captured are sufficient to blast you into the mode of super growth and help you become an over-comer willing to live life to your fullest and explore your true potential.
If you want to become an over-comer and conquer issues such as spiraling emotions, lust, and temptation, read my book. If you want to overcome an addiction and regain your spiritual peace, read my book. If you ever catch yourself judging others, read on. If fear has become your security blanket, or you’re stuck in a dead-end job, read my book. If there is a quiet cry of uncertainty due to medical bills, utility bills, car notes, mortgages, rising fuel, and food costs, read my book. If you are bludgeoned by bill collectors and bank overdraft fees, read my book.
If you feel burnt out, or like failure, or are wrapped up in self-pity, read my book. If you feel like you live in a troubled world with news of terrorism, suicide bombers, political upheavals, collapsing economies, abortion, gay marriage, racism, classism, prejudice, and other hot topic issues, then read my book. If you work in an environment where you deal with angry people all day, where each Monday leaves you wondering if you are going to make it to Friday, read my book.
If you feel like you always find a way to mess things up, read my book. If you ever had dreams of becoming rich and famous, read on. If your ego has ever been so badly bruised that you want to disappear into a dark corner, then read my book. If you are on a journey to achieve peace of mind and discover the real you with all your potential, then you must read my book.
You see, I was all of these things, all in one year. But God delivered me into a better place. God gave me peace of mind, and fulfilled my dreams of becoming a published author.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Understanding and Overcoming Sin
Confession:
Dear God, I‘ve lived my life without structure. It seems like every morning I jump out of bed, turn on the TV, log onto my computer and read the news as it unfolds. I dash into the shower, get dressed, grab breakfast and drive to work. I face life head-on with no mental preparation. I operate like a car that drives without fuel. I feel burnt out, irritable, and hopeless.
In my frustrations I’m irritable and short fused with people. I’m burdened by my guilt. I lose my peace, and I fall into the trap of sin.
“Dear God, why is it so easy for me to sin?”
In God’s Words:
The road to sin is not a sprint, it is a marathon. When you sprint through life you crash and burn. Don’t give in to the nagging, whispering, and lingering temptations of sin. Sin knows your strengths and your weaknesses. It attacks at both extremes with a lingering patience, waiting impatiently for your thoughts to manifest into sinful actions.
You have my guiding strength as a shield. Call on my name and spend time gazing into my presence and sin will know that your newfound peace is not up for sale.
Be vigilant, be alert. Guard the doors of your heart from the unwanted solicitor. Let me be the door-keeper of your heart and I will protect your spirit with a determination and grittiness that turns sin’s journey into an unattainable marathon and not an attainable sprint.
“So whoever knows the right thing to do and fails to do it, for him it is sin.”
Version of Bible, James 4:17
Confession:
Dear God, sometimes I feel like it is easier for me to live with my sins than commit to living without them. Most of my sinful ways are the result of what I see as acts of injustice against me. My sins are like a shield of protection over me. However my sins are a burden too heavy to carry. Buried in my sin is a soul in torment, longing to be free.
“Dear God, how do I free myself from the bondage of sin?”
In God’s Words:
No sin is beyond my reach for the person who gravitates to my words and begs for forgiveness.
When you confess your sins you take ownership over them. Don’t blame your shortcomings on others. I will receive your sins once you take ownership. Ownership removes guilt. Guilt planted in the heart is like a ship wrecked on a rocky shore. It holds you back and cripples your momentum. Let your faith in me replace your guilt. Bring guilty thoughts to me and I will remove them. Your faith in me will set you free.
“But each person is tempted when he is lured and enticed by his own desire.”
James 1:14
Confession:
Dear God, lately my emotions have been spiraling out of control. I’ve engaged in things that I shouldn’t engage in. I’ve listened to explicit song lyrics. I admit I love the beat of the songs, but I feel the hateful lyrics embedded in my heart. I find it difficult to carry an aura of peace and love. I’ve lost my spirituality in the process. I feel like I’ve compromised my peace. Now I struggle to decide between the catchy beat of the songs and my peace of mind.
“Dear God, how can I overcome the spirit of addiction that’s gotten hold of me?”
In God’s Words:
Be cautious of the things that you expose yourself to. They can be harmful to the peace of your soul. Too many worldly things can disturb your peace, but you can never get too much of me. I am the only natural resource for the spirit.
Guard the information that you feed into your thoughts, for though it may seem beautiful at the moment, it can wreak havoc on your soul. Good and bad cannot exist within the same soul; one will violently reject the other. Check your reactions against the things you are injecting into your life. Make the changes, so that you may guard and protect your peace. Don’t inject the poison of worldly things into your soul for it flows into the seeds of your children, and they too will be in harm’s way.
“Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.”
