You might not expect a former soldier and police officer to become one of erotica’s most consistently steamy writers, but Logan Woods did just that with his vivid imagination and ability to artfully describe explicit moments of passion and sexuality – and the enticing characters that inhabit such scenes. He’s ghostwritten for publishers for years but now is ready to make a name for himself, with Steam Books Erotica & Romance and beyond.
If his writing career isn’t enough to prove he’s equal parts brain and brawn, Logan Woods also holds a B.S. in Resource Management with a minor in Economics and Military Science.

EMANCIPATED BY THE VAMPIRE Part I
by Sandra Sinclair
When Cornelia woke up, she found herself in a bed, a high, wooden ceiling above her and a flickering lamp at her bedside. Slowly, she tried to sit up and as she did, she felt something thick around her neck.
A bandage?
One by one, her memories came back to her – the rebellion, the escape, the accident. Curious to find out what had happened to her neck, she removed the bandage and got out of bed, heading to the dresser against the wall. To her relief, there didn’t seem to be any cuts, nor could she see any bruises, making her wonder why there was a bandage in the first place.
She was more curious, though, to find out who put the bandage and where she was.
She walked to the window, parting the heavy curtains. It was just as dark as it had been the last time she was awake, making her wonder how much time had actually passed. By the light of the moon, she could make out the rows of trees beyond her and the mountains beyond them.
Mountains?
Bewildered, she picked up the lamp, slipped into her shoes and walked towards the door, pausing as she noticed a small table where her possessions had been placed along with her bandana. She checked them, then proceeded out of the room, walking down a long hallway with a row of large, glass windows on one side and a row of double doors on the other.
Where was she?
Clearly, she was in a mansion. That much she could ascertain. It was old and poorly kept, the drapes with cobwebs on them and the window sills covered in layers of dust, but it was a grand mansion just the same, perhaps even larger than the one on Silver Beech plantation and more beautiful if it were dusted and repaired.
She knocked on the first door to her right, hoping to find someone to question, and when there was no answer, she opened it, finding a spacious bedchamber much like the one she had just left inside.
It was empty.
