LUCY ELLINSON
Her previous credits for the Gate include Grounded 2013/14 (Premiere at Traverse Theatre Edinburgh Festival 2013, Studio Theatre Washington DC, GEST Sweden, UK Tour); The Trojan Women and Tenet (Gate and Greyscale Theatre).
Other theatre credits include A Midsummer Night’s Dream: A Play for the Nation (RSC, UK Tour); World Factory (Young Vic, New Wolsey, National Tour); Money: The Game Show (Unlimited Theatre and The Bush Theatre); Oh The Humanity (and Other Good Intentions) (Northern Stage and Soho Theatre) and Presumption (Sheffield Crucible, UK/International Tour).
Lucy is a regular collaborator with artists Chris Thorpe, Clare Duffy, Wendy Hubbard, Chris Goode, Slung Low Theatre, Jane Packman Co, Lydia Ziemke and Suite42 in Berlin, and Zoukak Theatre in Beirut. She is a creative associate with the Gate, as associate artist with Forest Fringe, a member of Third Angel and The Deaf and Hearing Ensemble and a selector for the National Student Drama Festival.
Her solo work includes When I Was Old When I Get Young, One Minute Manifesto, Kaidan and #TORYCORE.
Her radio credits include ‘15 Minutes Live’ and ‘The Fall’ for BBC Radio 4.

George Brant’s plays include Grounded, Elephant’s Graveyard, Marie and Rosetta, The Mourners’ Bench, Any Other Name, Salvage, Grizzly Mama, and Three Voyages of the Lobotomobile. An Affiliate Writer at the Playwrights’ Center, his scripts have been produced internationally by such companies as the Public Theater, the Atlantic Theater, Trinity Repertory Company, the Studio Theatre, Cleveland Play House, Alley Theatre, London’s Gate Theatre, Page 73, and the Traverse Theatre. His plays have received a Lucille Lortel Award, an Edgerton Foundation New Play Award, the Smith Prize, a Fringe First Award, an OffWestEnd Theatre Award, an NNPN Rolling World Premiere, the Teatro Netto Festival Grand Prize, three OAC Individual Excellence Awards, and the Keene Prize for Literature. George received his MFA in Writing from the Michener Center at UT-Austin and is a member of the Dramatists Guild. He is published by Samuel French, Oberon Books and Smith & Kraus.
CHRISTOPHER HAYDON
Christopher Haydon is Artistic Director at the Gate Theatre and formerly an Associate Director at the Bush Theatre. He is a 2016/17 Clore Fellow.
His credits at the Gate include The Convert, Diary of a Madman (also Traverse Theatre); The Iphigenia Quartet, The Christians (also Traverse Theatre, winner: Fringe First); Grounded (also Traverse Theatre, Studio Theatre Washington DC, National and International Tour, winner: Fringe First, Best Production – OffWestEnd Awards); Image of an Unknown Young Woman (Winner: Best Production, OffWestEnd Awards); The Edge of Our Bodies, The Trojan Women, Purple Heart, The Prophet and Wittenburg.
Other theatre credits include Twelve Angry Men (Birmingham Rep/West End); Sixty-Six Books, In the Beginning (Bush Theatre/Westminster Abbey); A Safe Harbour for Elizabeth Bishop (Southbank Centre); Grace, Pressure Drop (On Theatre); Deep Cut (Sherman Cymru/National Tour); Monsters, Notes from Underground (Arcola Theatre) and A Number (Salisbury Playhouse).

OLIVER TOWNSEND
Oliver trained at RWCMD and is an Associate Artist at the Gate Theatre.
His previous credits for the Gate includeThe Christians, Grounded and Wittenberg.

Oliver designed the sets for Aladdin, Cinderella, Dick Whittington, and Jack & the Beanstalk at the Lyric Hammersmith. Costume design credits include Wozzeck (ENO); The Lighthouse (ROH Linbury) and Big Maggie (Druid). Oliver was one of the Gate’s Jerwood Young Designers in 2013.
MARK HOWLAND
Mark studied briefly at Oxford University prior to training in Stage Lighting Design at RADA.
His previous credits for the Gate Theatre include The Convert, Diary of a Madman, The Christians, Image of an Unknown Young Woman, Edge of Our Bodies, Grounded, Purple Heart, Trojan Women, The Prophet, Yerma, Wittenberg, The Kreutzer Sonata and Vanya.
