INTRODUCTION
I have talked about writing a book for many years, and I never thought it would be about the connection between politics and religion. The two are seemingly antithetical or oppose one another, but both are closely related because each has its own standard of values. Our values, or a lack of them play a role in the decisions made by a government of people. The decisions made overall define who we are as a country. Regardless if you agree with the legislation made or not, it does define what we stand for or against as a nation. I noticed the manipulation of cause and effect in the legislative system that impacts our communities and our lives.
I am learning daily to be a better Christian. As far as religion goes, I think I knew the book would be Christ based. So, when I had an unction to write about the politics of religion and the religion of politics, I had to pay attention.
Years ago, during my sophomore year of college, I was required to do a 20-page research paper on Kate Chopin’s The Awakening, and at that point, I had only written a 5-page paper. So, I felt the new challenge was impossible for me to do. Eventually, I decided that I had to conquer my fears and give it everything that I had. I kept a notepad with me always; even while asleep, I was prepared to write just in case something came to mind. I did not want a thought or an idea to get lost in memory because I was unprepared. When I completed the paper, I was proud of myself, because it challenged me to expand and I met that challenge. I had the same feeling about writing The Hypocrisy of Greed: Spiritual Warfare in the Era of Trump, because I felt initially that it was an impossible feat. However, I heard the Lord speaking to me. Information began to flood my mind, it was like a download of data that I had to get on paper to fully understand. So, I did.
I had planned to write about something totally different, but God sent me in a different direction. One day while writing, I received a revelation on President Donald Trump, and a message for America. With that one revelation, I began to pull all my notes and Bible research together, and I wrote. It was not until I began to compile and type those notes that I realized God was helping me to connect the dots between the spiritual realm and the natural realm (which is what we live in). When I realized that God was giving me revelation and understanding on how issues of the past impact the issues related to today, I listened and waited on his guidance of what I was to write each day. Some days the writing was very difficult, and I felt the dismay and constant upheavals that occur in this nation. While feeling the heaviness of the information received, things were beginning to make sense. As hard as some days were to write, I continued to be thankful and gave God the praise for each revelation. Everything that I heard, I wrote down; the things that made sense, and even the things that did not seem to make sense, because I knew that I would receive clarity from what I was writing.
My time spent reading the Bible changed my faith. I sought God in his word. The words seemed to come alive with meaning. As a result, my understanding and knowledge increased. Without understanding, we will always be misguided.
The Hypocrisy of Greed explains that hypocrisy or a hypocrite is one who has set a moral standard for others, but not for one’s self. Because this person feels a certain privilege, exemption, entitlement, status, or superiority is deserved above others, the double-standard is ignored. It is a deception. What could be the reason someone wants to deceive you? When you inquire beyond the surface, it is common to find that the result is greed; Greed is the fulfillment of selfish and excessive desires and lusts that often involve taking from others or denying others of something.
Greed is the instigator that hides the truth behind a mask so that they can continue to bask in their lusts and continue in their deception. As a society, we can no longer be ignorant of the things happening behind the scenes of society, corporations, and government. In showing the greed that has plagued this country and benefited the wealthiest for hundreds of years, that it is specifically designed for many victims to pay that price for those privileges that only those few will enjoy. It is a benefit that may make them feel powerful, superior, privileged, and most of all, they feel like a god.
There are five main messages that are offered in The Hypocrisy of Greed that I hope many will take heed.
1) The first is as a preparation for Christians. We must prepare ourselves that our work in the kingdom is about our lifestyles. As Christians we should examine our lives and lay aside everything that is out of the will of God to strengthen our personal relationship with him. It is also a must to read the Bible for wisdom, understanding and knowledge, to spend time in prayer, and receive and understand the comfort and power of the Holy Spirit. It requires a lifestyle of seeking God and a desire to follow the precepts or teachings that Christ laid out for us. We are being given a chance to line up according to the instruction of the Bible, and to mature ourselves in the word. All Christians should know what is good, righteous, godly, and holy according to the standard of the Bible. It is imperative that we read it for ourselves and seek understanding. Do not get weary, God will prove himself to the masses. Help is on the way.
2) The second message is to help clarify and understand the tricks and tactics of the devil that were in effect from the inception of this country through today. There is a difference between good and evil, and we should be able to identify each. Our spiritual warfare is not with flesh and blood, it is with the wicked or sinful spirits that may dwell within an individual.
3). The third message is to exercise your faith with works and your works with faith. I pray that we step out in boldness, maturity, and wisdom. We have a mandate to pray and to get in place to work in the kingdom of the Lord, which requires us to lay hands on and heal the sick; raise the dead; cast out demons to redeem those who will believe; and, do greater works than Christ because he left that mandate for us. When God shows himself, many people will seek help from the Christian community. We will begin to see people healed, delivered, and set free from torment, and know that the only way it happened was by the hand of God.
4). The fourth message is now that we are prepared for spiritual warfare, we must be in position to help redeem those souls that want redemption. As the spirits of confusion and deception have manifested in this nation, it makes plain that there is warfare between good and evil, honesty and dishonesty, and righteousness and unrighteousness. To identify some of the good or wicked spirits that are prevalent in this society, may be shown by a person’s heart, behavior, and personality. In the identification of sin or wickedness, it is not to cast judgement on an individual. It is to help those of us to see and understand what may not be godly. The country is in unrest. I will clarify the reason for the chaos in this country and the reason Donald Trump became the president of the United States of America. We must have a right relationship with God during this season. It will be difficult for those who are not in Christ to endure the things that are to come. Those who are in Christ, do not worry, God will provide for his people.
5). The fifth message, takes us on a journey through history to see, face, and heal the residue of slavery and to catch it at its roots into this country. While the ride may get a little bumpy, it will smooth out along the way as we lend our hearts to God during the process. I followed the leading of God, and wrote every subject assigned to me, even when I did not understand the reasons, including writing about the spirits of slavery, white supremacy, white privilege, and racism. These spirits are challenging to discuss, but are necessary for this season. God has always had a plan and that plan is always for a reason. It soon became clear the reasons we must deal with the sins of our fathers in a natural and spiritual format. God is trying to heal this nation and we must go back to the beginning to heal the now.
In, The Hypocrisy of Greed, several themes are addressed by the issues that have plagued this country for centuries such as the blood, theft, idleness, oppression, deception, power, greed, and control. God said that everything that he made was good. He left us the tools on this earth to create and to be anything and everything our hearts desire, even to reach the stars. This is a wonderful gift that he left to everyone. Some will create to make this world a better place, and others will attempt to destroy it because they cannot control their own need for greed.
There is nothing wrong with being in control of people. Many people can control situations perfectly in the leadership roles they command over others, and without perverting or contaminating it. It is how you use or do anything that can enlighten it or corrupt it. Some of the ones who are corrupt do not think they are corrupt. God gave man dominion over the things in the earth, can he trust you to be a good steward over his people and over his earth? Or, will you forfeit it, and cause the people and the earth to suffer? Everything that each of us does or does not do is a choice.
My prayer is that we as believers, live righteously as a lifestyle according to the word of God; and, get what we need by way of healing and deliverance. We will also begin to see deliverance in others. I pray that those who thought they could not be healed from the pain and torture of some sins, to be healed by the power of God; For someone seeking salvation and redemption, to receive it even though you may feel unworthy; For those living in contention, chaos, and drama just to feel something, to know that you can be fulfilled living in the peace of God; For those who hate, to experience what God’s love feels like; For non-believers to become believers; Spiritually, for those with mental blocks or walls that hinder them receiving truth, to begin to receive, hear, and understand the word and things outside of the word; and, for people to turn from wickedness to righteousness, because they trusted God. I pray that our faith will increase as we continue to grow and trust the Lord together; and, to be equipped with the knowledge to understand the deceptions that are meant to trap us. Believe God.

CHAPTER 1: CHRISTENDOM A CALL TO ORDER
As humans, we have a spirit with a soul that lives inside of a body. We are both spiritual and natural creatures. The essence of who we are, is an invisible spirit and soul, which is housed in a body that is a visible, physical, tangible, and a natural being. We are three parts in one; which is spirit, soul (mind, will, heart, emotion), and body (human). Substance can be anything that we recognize as belonging to this earth; it is visible and palpable. Earth is a place full of substance that allows us to take a substance to create something different, and from that, to create something else. We are living, breathing, thinking beings, whose bodies live and die in a physical earth; and are the superior life force that has dominion in this world.
As part of this earth, our bodies are subject to this earth and the laws of nature. We comprehend an inherent sense of reality of our world to decipher or determine what does and does not make sense. For instance, we know humans do not naturally fly, because that is not our nature, nor is it what we were designed to do. Our knowledge of this natural world is based on what we sense through what we see, hear, taste, smell, touch, and also what we perceive in our minds and feel in our emotions. The things of this earth represent the natural or physical realm, which is all manner of elements and life. More specific to the human body, it can be referred to as carnal, flesh, physical, secular or natural; and, the tendencies of that body are referenced as human flesh or human nature. The earth and its substance are temporal.
I will make many references of the natural or physical to compare that to spiritual righteousness or spiritual wickedness that operate in the earth’s atmosphere and in individuals. While man may have dominion of earthly things, the two spiritual realms are good and evil, that govern, influence, or impact the spirits that operate and manifest in the physical earth. These two forces are a constant challenge for our spirit part. Everyone must determine how either will influence their humanity. While our bodies are subject to the earth and the things therein, our spiritual soul is subject to the spiritual forces of good and evil; and, each of us must decide if our soul will operate in the Kingdom of God or the Kingdom of darkness. God is a spirit, and operates in righteousness. God the Father, God the Son—who is Jesus Christ, and God the Holy Ghost (Holy Spirit) are one spirit called the Trinity. While God is everywhere at the same time, he reigns from the heavens above. The Holy Trinity represents holiness, truth, goodness, integrity, righteous covenant, peace, joy, cleanness of heart, wisdom, faith, deliverance, edification, forgiveness, love, slow to anger, kindness, healing, miracles, restoration, obedience, knowledge, prophecy, meekness, trustworthiness, longsuffering, discernment, humility, and other edifying and corrective attributes that opposes evil.
In the spiritual realm of evil, the kingdom of darkness. It is ruled by a spirit called Satan, who is the devil, the deceiver, the thief, the prince of the power of the air, the Father of Lies, and the author of confusion, and other names as he promotes wickedness, sin, lies, theft, hate, chaos, idol worship, contention, division, respect of persons, evil plots and actions, fornication, sinful lusts, retaliation, deception, bitterness, untrustworthiness, a lack of integrity, disrespect, murder, jealousy, confusion, the unjust, selfishness, pride and haughtiness, boastful, greed, a rejection of the truth, witchcraft, manipulation, destruction, sabotage, harm and abuse, derision, perversion, filthy mind and language, no ethics, a trickster, demons, tormenting spirits, suppression, oppression, unrepentance, viciousness, disobedience, rage, and any other manifestations that opposes God, truth, and righteousness.
We are a part of the physicality of this earth, as much as we are a part of the spirituality that resides in this earth. With everything in our beings and what we stand for as Christians, we must strive for perfection and a right relationship with God through Jesus Christ. We must also develop a godly relationship with our families and with our fellow citizens, as we strive to live peaceably with all men.
The Word of God
As Christians, we must pray, fast, and read the Holy Bible. If ever there is a time that we should get things in order with our Lord, it is now. A move of God will happen in this country on behalf of his people. The enemy is on his job deceiving, devouring, stealing, and destroying the lives of people. We must combat and intercept the tricks and tactics of the enemy. To just complain about the misdeeds in this world, and then go back to our routine daily lives with no action, is no longer an option. There will be a dynamic move of God, and he will inform and direct us in those things that are to come from what is already in the word. The word of God is the Bible. Some say the Bible is outdated for our society, and that we must adjust the Bible to what is happening by today’s standards. I must admit there were times that I too felt the Bible was outdated, but that was because I just did not understand the value of the word. I used the words in the Bible as a guide for inspiration and insight of the things to come; which was fine enough, because I did absorb the word. Yet, I felt there was a lack or a disconnect. I then decided that I had to trust all the word of God, even if something does not seem to make sense in the natural. We lean to our own understanding to determine and interpret some of the messages in the Bible. The word uses parables to help explain how the spiritual compares to the natural. While other stories that seem impossible to humanity are labeled as an allegory, tale, or a fable, of which, I do not believe that the Creator of all would use, when the truth can stand on its own. When I began to seek God in his word, I realized it was more than instruction; I felt the realization of power and life of that word. I believe that in the Bible that God did what he said he did and, will do what he said he will do. We must allow him to grow our understanding, continually, and to take our knowledge in a direction that may be different than our perception, but in the end, it will make sense. The word being the inspiration of God gives us guidance on righteousness and unrighteousness. The omniscient God, the one who knows all, knew that in time societies would indeed change, yet his word has and will remain the same. The Bible is not outdated; we have allowed ourselves some freedoms and compromises that caused us to date outside of the Bible. Meaning, we left its instruction and guidance to fulfill our own desires and lusts, and our own interpretations of what we felt was important or not important in the Bible, and that changed our relationship with the word and with the Lord. As we have become more self-reliant, the role of God in our lives has diminished, and it is when we find ourselves in great need that we call upon him for help. A practice that should not remain as a standard for Christians. Instead, we must subject ourselves to his will to begin to understand and fulfill the purpose he has for us in this world.
God’s word does not accommodate to what we think or feel, we must accommodate to the word. He is alive and sees all. The guidelines of how to live holy are provided to us. He has given us a chance to get our lives—our spiritual houses in order. We can no longer cherry-pick and alter the scriptures we choose to fit our lifestyle or our narrative. We must upgrade to rightly divide the truth of his word and live the way he instructs. Regardless of the changing of times, we must be righteous men and women of God.
Pick a Sin, any Sin
Be mindful that some people struggle with certain sins. If you were able to be healed from a sin or walk away from it without turning back, then give God the glory. Some sins are strongholds and abominations that have been passed through some families for many generations, which can cause a tremendous struggle and a failure to overcome; while others will just give in to it, because it is just easier to do in the flesh. A stronghold is a spirit that has reinforced itself to resist being broken or penetrated. A stronghold or strong tower can operate in righteousness as a fortress or a place of protection. It can also be a wicked reinforcement that has strengthened itself to make it difficult to rid yourself of a certain sin or to pull that stronghold down. It could be a hold on your mind—that may create a spiritual block or a wall to hinder your ability to receive and understand the word of God when you hear it, and also a form of demonic torment and torture that keeps you from being at peace; as a hold on your heart—it is really a reinforcement against your faith where it may manifest as a hard-heart or a cold-heart where you lack the ability or emotion to care about someone else’s hardship or life; as a hold on your body—it could be an idol, greed, lust, witchcraft, or a sexual sin that has strengthened itself within your body, and you feel like it is so attached that it seems impossible to get rid of.
Abominations are sins that could be considered disgusting, horrible, or of idolatry. Some examples of abominations are murder, idol worship, human sacrifices, prostitution, a false balance or scale-intentionally offset to cheat people, same-sex acts, liars, pride, and wicked thoughts to name only a portion. God will begin to destroy that evil root quickly to end that struggle and the curse upon some families. Be aware that the enemy will try to bring back to you the wickedness that has been cast out. It is meant to entice and tempt you to accept the one that was cast out, while it brings along seven other spirits as an attempt to strengthen that stronghold even more. It will make you worse off than before, if you give into it. I pray that any void be filled with a seed for the Kingdom of God, as you follow Christ. When God heals and delivers, it is to turn from sin, and to follow him, not to go back to a life of sin. TACTIC: The enemy does not care if a person struggles with a sin. Because the devil enjoys seeing people bound, he will bring in other spirits to seal the deal. This is a tactic of the devil to kill, steal, and destroy you.
REVELATION: God will break that abomination and stronghold off people, and they will not return to it because the desire and the taste for it will no longer exist in you. For some with other inordinate affections, cravings, homosexuality, fornication, and other promiscuities will be healed and cast out at the root. This is God showing himself. The sins that will be broken will surprise many because they thought it was just the way it would be, or they just did not realize it was a sin.
God will prove himself. The following New Testament scriptures gives us guidance on some things we can no longer afford to partake:
9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, 10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. 1 Corinthians 6: 9-10.
Find a church that teaches the Bible and feeds your soul. If anyone has a struggle in any of these areas, you must get with the elders of the church for deliverance and guidance. We must be in position to help people get delivered from sin by restoration, and without judgment and shame, and without spreading that person’s business as a busybody or a gossip; we must be trustworthy in doing the work of the Lord. Many Christians are following the ways of Christ. Some in God are trying to find a balance between the struggle of letting sin go and retaining it, but there is no balance, that is why the struggle is present, and you are not at peace. PRAYER: By the cleansing blood of Jesus Christ, I pray that the tormenting spirits that are trying to destroy your minds and flesh, by God’s word, be cast out that you may be free of that bondage to serve God. Amen.
The Seed of Abraham
If you feel you can pick and choose who should or should not be a Christian, please consult your Bible. As long as we are living according to the word of God, anyone that is in Christ is an heir to kingdom of God, and the seed of Abraham.
I remember watching a segment of the television show 60 Minutes called, Vast, that aired October 1, 2017. It was about NASA’s (The National Aeronautics and Space Administration) Hubble Space Telescope. This satellite telescope took the most amazing pictures of galaxies beyond those in our Milky Way and showed the various stages in the life of a star. Stars are created in vast pillars of star dust that are larger than I can imagine. The pictures of these pillars were vibrant, colorful, and full of fantastic energy. It is a must see. 60 Minutes correspondent, Bill Whitaker, interviewed Amber Straughn, an astrophysicist at NASA. They discussed the new insight on the majesty and beauty of stars and other galaxies that we did not know existed before the pictures they showed were taken. Their conversation on stardust piqued my interest:
Amber: “So, big stars, when they die, they explode and send their contents into the surrounding universe; and these contents are what seed future stars and future planets, and help to seed life, ultimately. The iron in your blood and the calcium in your bones was literally forged inside of a star that ended its life like this”.
Bill: “So, we are all stardust?”
Amber: “We literally are stardust; we are viscerally made of the stars.”
If we are indeed made of the stuff of stars, it seems we should be able to activate, create, and produce anything that our minds can conceive.
Whitaker narrates:
“Typical galaxies like our Milky Way have 100,000,000,000 stars. That means the total number of stars or suns out there is 2 followed by 23 zeros (200,000,000,000,000,000,000,000). That’s called 200 sextillions.”
He also spoke with a star counter, Adam Riess, a Nobel Prize winner for his work with the Hubble telescope, and he responds:
“This is more stars in the visible universe, than grains of sand on the beach…on all the beaches on earth.”
Meaning that the stars we can see are greater than the amount of sand on all of the beaches on planet earth. With that in mind, God made a promise to Abraham in the Old Testament book of Genesis 22: 17-18, which says, 17 That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies; 18 And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou has obeyed my voice.
Now, to total this all up—add the stars we can see to the stars we cannot see, then add all the grains of sand on earth—it becomes nearly infinite to us. I am sure that I cannot count that high and would get lost somewhere in all those zeros. But as an inheritor, I am grateful that I am included in that number as a Christian. All nations will be blessed because of the promise that God made to Abraham.
The one star that explodes to make many other stars sounds like multiplication to me, and this cycle continuously repeats. Just imagine, when each of the many stars from the one that explodes recreates over and over. Abraham’s seed will defeat the enemy. Each of us must understand what the word of God is telling us, with the level of spiritual warfare that is upon this country, we must be in place. In due course, it will impact the world.
In the third chapter of Galatians, it tells us who we are in Christ:
“28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 And if ye be Christ s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.” Galatians 3:28-29.
I believe many of us must take heed to the 28th verse and receive the word of the Lord in the 29th. In the church of Galatia, Paul says that being in Christ is not about a person’s ethnicity, what you look like, social status, or gender, because we are all equal. Christians are the seed of Abraham and heirs to his blessings. To be inheritors, we must put aside our prejudices to see what a real family of Christians looks like. Remember that we may not physically look alike, and we all have a past where we have suffered or struggled with something, but the Spirit of God that is in us should unify us one to another. While we may disagree occasionally in the natural, our standard for righteousness should be the same. We all must read the word, pray, praise and worship. Know who you are in Christ.
Perfect our Lifestyles
I know that some believe that if you have ever accepted salvation through Jesus Christ in your life at any point, then you are saved and will always be saved. The sayings, “Once saved, always saved” and “saved by grace”, or any other similar reference, are not a license to sin. It is a sign of immaturity. We cannot allow sayings to misinterpret the word or make us miss the mark. If you accept Christ and go back to a sinful life without repentance, it is not living life as a Christian, and he did not give us salvation just to go back to a lifestyle of wickedness. What would be the motivation to choose God and then deliberately continue to live sinfully, while still expecting to enter heaven? God forbid that anyone should think this way. Those who adopt that mentality will think it is okay to use God and live wickedly, this is not God’s desire and it is not Christianity. If one chooses to live in sin, then just live in sin. In Romans 12:2 it says, “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” (Holy Bible, KJV). You cannot be in sin without repentance and be in the perfect will of God. Being in Christ requires that we change or transform the way we think. God is not subject to us, but we to him. He does say he will never leave, nor forsake us, which means he will be with us if we choose to live for him or not. Christ said to “Follow him”. Living as a Christian is a lifestyle, not a fad or a craze. I want the things that God has for me and has promised me. He said he would not withhold any good thing from you. If we trust him he will direct and guide us on what is acceptable and what is not acceptable.
Because of the spiritual warfare that is in our country, many people are suffering, and many things are out of order. If we are living in sin in any form, we must turn away from it. When the atmosphere shifts, we must be righteous and dressed in our spiritual armor.
Unfortunately, the image of what Christianity represents has suffered. Because some live lives that do not fully line up with God’s word, which allowed others outside of the kingdom to question our righteousness or even Christ. No one is perfect, but the time is now that we all must strive for the standard he set. This is not about making a mistake or falling short of the glory of God; it is about not wanting to let go of certain comfortable and pleasurable sins and still praying and praising God over it. If you have fallen short or are trying to balance God and sin, there is no judgment at this point, but it must be fixed. If you will trust him with your situation, he will heal it. We can live the way God has commanded. So, when a non-believer sees a Christian, that they will desire to live godly, because they see God in you, and not sin. The Bible really is our guide.
Because of the reproach some have put on the word, Christian, some began to call themselves Believers, instead of Christians. We should feel shame for this, because the word has not changed, Christ has not changed, and God has not changed. We cannot change the image of what Christ stands for, we must reclaim the Christ in Christian. It is good to be a Christian. It is good to be a Believer. Whatever you call yourself, live to the standard the word represents, and be ye holy.
