The Challenge
Dear Mr. President,
It is said, “When one inhales it is already established that living is a priority, but when you exhale gifts us why you live.”
No, I don’t feel I have much, but the God We Trust don’t need much. A dash of humility, a sprinkle of humbleness and the rest is added as faith grows.
I am persuaded to cry on the shoulder of assistance after my body has given its last drop of sweat to bring an order of love that’s established upon chiseling the rough edges off this Mountain I call Nation.
I have discovered that the gifts and talents I come with are not as needed as the one’s I shall pick up along the way.
I have decided this frigid and harsh, mountainous whining windblown road has my name all over it.
I am determined that the changes I am to go through are changes I will go through. Regardless as to how mountainous the terrain gets. No matter how much the wind may blow; nor, why the crying rains pour. With this seed like faith I will drag the Mountain with me.

Imagine having the ability to know those around you. Not only knowing them but being able to negotiate affectively, be they your friend or foe.
Those who are your friends are amazed at your gift and have to sit and catch their breath because of the charisma that you possess. Also, to find an equal amount of humility is something to behold within itself. Those who understand know that it is humility that allows crystal clear vision through whatever person, object or situation that presents itself.
Those who are your foes are bothered by the fact that it is them who wonder what is on your mind.
They are too nervous to speak because no matter what place in line they’re in. They find themselves too embarrassed not to stand and clap when you speak.
It bothers me not to be invited to a fight.
I know there is going to be anger. Hostile words will be thrown from one end to another. Knife cutting tension will undoubtedly fill the air. Loss of life will take its rightful place. Blood stained soil will be the design of the floors.
Liars, backstabbers and snakes will be comfortable. Racist, unmoral hearts, prejudice souls, jealous spirits and envious minds will have their place. Weapons seen and unseen will already be mapped out.
The side deals and ambushes lurking in the corners. Hardened hearts, selfishness and killers with the manners of gentlemen will be there. Bigots, bondage and schemes will look through innocent eyes. Slick words, deceit, and ears that don’t hear will fake paying attention.
Mouths that mix up the truth and enough enemies for everybody will no doubt be there. Negativity, bad past, unwanted present and a deadly future will have very little life to share. Evil eyes, grim looks, and an intimidating stare will have their names signed as present.
Anger, hatred, malice and strife, homicide, genocide and suicide would not miss this one. Spirit killing words, tongues with two edges and a soft whisper that can lull the most powerful to sleep will be on the shoulders and in the ears of everyone.
