The summer I turned 18, my parents invited their friend’s son Michael to stay with us for a few weeks, while he attended a training course in the area. I believe he was about 25, with a mop of dark curly hair and the gold-green eyes of a panther. He moved like a panther too; powerfully, intentionally, with no wasted movements and a languid sensuality that was overflowing with animal magnetism. I’d never seen anything like him.
