able to adapt your thinking and choose beliefs that serve you and
your situation better.

in that particular
situation.
So if you are always repeating the same thoughts in your head, it's no wonder if you feel your life is full of only experiences that are similar to those thoughts of yours. Thoughts that always stays the same - and the feelings that accompany those thoughts - keep you concretely locked in a reality that repeats the same patterns endlessly. Thoughts show you what kind of life situation you're in and what you can expect from the future. Still, at the same time, you can also use your thoughts as a gateway towards a life more to your liking.
